Our
aim is:
· To
make the Christian Faith accessible to all, to encourage one
another and share our ideas.
We
believe that:
· God
is the creator and sustainer of all life.
· Each
of us has a God given potential, which we can work towards.
· God
demonstrated his love for the whole World by sending his only
son, Jesus, into the World so that everyone who believes in him
should never die but live forever.
· When
Jesus died on the cross, His sacrifice paid in full for every
wrong thought, word or action we have done. If we are genuinely
sorry we have done wrong, we only have to ask for his
forgiveness and our record will be completely deleted and we
will be saved forever.
· As
Jesus himself rose from the dead, he has the power to transform
us from mortal to immortal. In the meantime, he installs in us a
comforter who will guide and teach us. This comforter is known
as the Holy Spirit.
· Being
a Christian makes you a brand new person inside and this
transition is only possible through a life-changing encounter
with Jesus.
· Since
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one
comes to the Father but by me", we should not only take
this truth on board for ourselves but also try to make it known
to others.
· The
Bible is the inspired word of God, teaches us about him and
guides us how to live our lives.
· Jesus
will return one day, as He said He would, in order to establish
His kingdom. Christians look forward to this event with great
expectation!
